The Trump Administration has proposed a regulation that would detain children indefinitely and expand the harmful practice of jailing families. The public has one more week to speak out against the rule.
CLASP strongly opposes the proposed changes to the Flores settlement agreement regarding the apprehension, processing, care, and custody of minors and unaccompanied children. We urge the Administration to withdraw the regulation and uphold current provisions regarding implementation of the settlement.
