CLASP Comments on Proposed Changes to the Affordable Care Act’s Provision on Nondiscrimination in Health and Health Education Programs or Activities
CLASP prepared comments on proposed changes to the Affordable Care Act’s provision on Nondiscrimination in Health and Health Education Programs or Activities (Section 1557). CLASP opposes the proposed changes to the rule, which would create more barriers for those with limited English proficiency (LEP), LGBT populations, and those with chronic illnesses overall, and even more so for people living with low-incomes.
