J Geiman
J is a policy analyst on the education, labor & worker justice team at CLASP. A Chicago native and proud product of public schools, they bring a deep commitment to racial justice and inclusive, participatory policy design. Prior to moving to D.C., they conducted research and provided full-time classroom support at Miller African Centered Academy through the University of Pittsburgh’s Heinz Fellowship. From 2018-19 they completed an AmeriCorps VISTA service year as education coordinator at All for All, an organization working to implement Allegheny County’s immigrant community blueprint and improve access to resources for immigrant and refugee Pennsylvanians. J received a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and literature from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 and is currently pursuing a second degree in environmental science and policy at Montgomery College.
